At Bulimba State School, we embrace the benefits of music for children’s development through our dynamic music community. Emphasizing ensemble performance, the Instrumental Music Program helps students develop their musical skills, while promoting teamwork and discipline. Students attend weekly group lessons and play in the String Ensemble or Concert Band. The Bulimba State School Big Band offers opportunity to further extend students, performing jazz and contemporary music styles.
We offer a wide range of instruments including strings, woodwind, brass and percussion. Students have regular opportunity to perform and build confidence. Our program is lead by qualified and passionate music educators who are dedicated to fostering a love of music in every student.
