All students at Bulimba State School participate in a 30 minute music lesson, with a specialist music teacher, every week.
The aim of the music program is to develop the creativity which is present in all children through a curriculum that the relevant, engaging, contemporary, enjoyable and developmentally appropriate.
Music education offers opportunities for students to develop their knowledge, understanding and skills in Composing, Performing and Responding, exposing them to a wide range of musical styles and cultures.
