Student Welfare Action Team supports students, teachers and families by providing necessary assessment, appropriate co-ordination between specialist providers, classroom support and recommendations for action. Most students, during their schooling, will need some further assistance in academics, speech development, behavioural expectations or social emotional development.
This process identifies students for action. The double sided one page document assists with identifying key information. Signatures are required by parents and teachers.
The SWAT group meets weekly – fortnightly.
SWAT forms are available on request with the class teacher, or Administration.
