At Bulimba State School, we deeply value the role of our School Council in shaping the future of our school. The council provides an important opportunity for our school community and key stakeholders to contribute to the school's strategic direction.
The School Council is dedicated to ensuring the best possible learning outcomes for our students. Its key responsibilities include:
- Overseeing and guiding the school's strategic direction
- Approving key plans, policies, and financial documents, including the annual budget
- Monitoring the implementation of these plans and policies
- Advising the principal on important strategic matters
While the School Council focuses on long-term planning and governance, the Parents & Citizens’ Association (P&C) plays a vital role in supporting the school's daily operations through fundraising, community engagement, and volunteer initiatives. Together, the School Council and P&C work in different but complementary capacities to ensure every student at Bulimba State School has access to the very best educational experience.
By working together, we continue to strengthen our school and create the best possible learning environment for every student at Bulimba State School.
