Advisory Visiting Teachers (AVTs) are teachers with specialist knowledge and skills, who support the access, participation and achievement of students with disabilities.
The AVTs who visit Bulimba State School play a key role in the delivery of quality education to students with disabilities in the areas of:
hearing impairment
physical impairment
vision impairment
